How Our Process Works

Whether you need a logo, brochure or website, our process remains the same. Why? Because we believe it’s the best – and most efficient – approach. Our goal is to work with you in the most effective way possible, tailoring each phase of your project to meet your needs, and moving it to completion in a timely fashion. Here’s how our process works:


Phase One: Planning

• A BSG team member meets with you to understand your business as well as your graphics needs. The more we understand how you work, the better we can translate your vision into design.
• We take as much or as little time as you will give us to get the understanding we need. We don’t want to pressure you, we don’t want to take up too much of your time, but we do want to keep you happy.
• Working with you, we figure out what team members and vendors need to be involved, and to what capacity, during the project. We want to make sure we coordinate with each team member to get the information we need to design the most effective graphics possible.
• We work with you and your team to get existing design samples, branding samples, images, content and anything else we need to do the graphic design.
• Our team conducts the research needed to gather tools and information to develop your graphics. If you want something truly custom, we can figure out the best way to design and output it.
• Writing – we can design an attractive layout, but if it doesn’t read well, it won’t sell well. We work with you to develop copy that “attracts” just as much as the graphics do.

Phase Two: Concept Design

• This is where the creativity begins. All of that planning is pulled together into however many concepts you want to see.
• We will develop an initial round of concepts, each very unique, to get a feel for what works best for you. Then we can either continue with another round of concepts, or revise what we’ve developed, until you are happy with it.
• If there is more than one piece we are designing, we may focus on the most basic one first, then continue on with the next in a logical order.

Phase Three: Development

• The concept is ready, now we need to get it out there for others to see. Whether you want your graphics printed professionally, ready-to-print in your office, developed for the web or placed on a sign, we guide you through it. How frustrating is it to have a beautiful design that you can't present to others? This is where we step in and keep the project running until it’s complete.
• This phase can serve in helping you to develop the right media for you marketing needs.

Phase Four: Love it!

• There isn’t really a phase four, but we still want you to love what we’ve designed. If you choose one of our vendors on Phase Three: Development, then we guarantee your satisfaction or we’ll cover the cost for any fixes. Why? Because, if we’ve done our job in planning and concept design, the output should be seamless and just as you expect it.
